June 2019

Although it came and went quietly, June 30 marked a major milestone for the University of Cental Florida — the conclusion of IGNITE, the most ambitious fundraising campaign ever undertaken by the university. Gemini Global is proud to have taken part in a campaign with a university that has changed so many lives, and we continue to do so for years to come.

December 2017

Gemini Global prepares for the release of its first standard line. DIN rail power. the new DIN rail power line will be called Wattcon. Gemini Global will start distributing samples in 2018 and we are currently completing UL, FCC and life testing and will fully release the product in 2018. The new line will feature high efficiency, extended temp range, remote monitoring, and many other features.

Gemini Global sees another breakthrough in wireless technology!   Gemini Global has been able to install and complete extensive testing at 5 different sites on a new optical receiver bank that transmits and receives data using the latest wireless technologies. Although many of the installation locations are very rf noisy environments, the new wireless system has been able to provide wired reliability. This type of reliability has been achieved by implementing the following technologies:

Gemini Global tests new innovative new wireless technology in other solutions.  The first application will be paired with our optical motor controllers.  Once successful this will greatly reduce customer cost and installation time!

The future is here!  Gemini Global has partnered with key companies in Asia and Europe to develop, support, and sell their wireless technologies.  The product uses a very innovative software and hardware solution to dramatically increase transmission range even in the harshest environments.  The proprietary frequency hopping firmware also allows use in extremely noisy environments.

Gemini Global tests new Optical Bridge in one of the largest Magnet Wire production facilities in the world.  The optical bridge is an optical link which allows our customers to link there production equipment to their network.  The bridge is able to receive and transmit data to the production equipment.  FPGA provides intelligence to only deliver critical information to your network while documenting all non-critical information.

Gemini Global is enhancing the value of its end-to-end manufacturing solutions through the introduction of 3D printer to produce quick turn prototypes and fit testing.  3D printing shortens lead time on design prototypes by weeks for some customers and insures less problems once into production.   These services enable customers to respond faster to changing product and market demands while reducing risks and costs associated with design, supply chain and manufacturing.

Gemini Global utilizes Fiber technology in its new generation of motor controllers.  This technology has excellent EMI resistance and EMC characteristics. The fiber technology offers electrical isolation and operates reliably in high noise environments common in motor control equipment and systems. Fiber optics technology is Gemini Global’s preferred isolation technology to interface between low voltage control logic or microprocessors and switching circuits. This technology dramatically improves quality and repeat-ability in the manufacturing process while reducing the customers cost.
